7 FORGOTTEN WEDDING DETAILS
Wedding planning is a whirlwind, but with so many moving parts, it’s easy to forget important details. To avoid last minute stress, here are 7 commonly forgotten wedding details that you can ensure you plan for.
OVERNIGHT BAG
Not heading straight home? Pjs, underwear, makeup remover, toiletries, and a change of clothes and shoes for the next day are necessary for those overnight stays.
EMERGENCY KIT
Safety pins, Hollywood Tape, stain remover, and bandaids are just a few essentials you should be including in your emergency kit for unexpected mishaps.
EATING THROUGHOUT THE DAY
One of the most overlooked aspects - food. Organise morning-of food for you and your bridal party ahead of time. Avoid hangry outbursts.
VENDOR MEALS
On the day vendors such as photographers, coordinators, entertainment will likely be working long hours. Check your contracts to see whether you’re required to provide a meal for any vendors during your event and ensure you pass this information on to your venue and catering team.
PHOTOS
Write a list of specific shots, and names of any people you want photos with on the day, and provide it to both your photographer and coordinator well before your event. This will save time on the day and mean that you won’t miss out on any of those shots you’ve been dreaming of.
PENS FOR YOUR GUESTBOOK
While we can always rely on one of our older family members to carry a pen, avoid the stress of needing to find one on the day for your guestbook.
AN EXIT PLAN
Most couples assume that the send off is where the wedding ends, but what happens to your belongings after? Most venues require pack down to occur at the end of the night. Decide who is going to be responsible for packing up and taking any personal and DIY items from the venue.
