Ever gathered quotes for an event and wondered why some quotes are so much cheaper than others? Let me break down the 4 most common reasons event quotes differ across vendors offering the same service.

1. LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

   Coming in at number one, the level of vendor experience is often the most significant factor that determines pricing. Vendors with more experience and a good reputation often have higher fees due to their expertise, particularly servicing large events.

2. QUALITY OF PRODUCTS/SERVICES
   Typically, high end vendors use premium products and materials which come with higher maintenance and replacement costs.

   While we all want to save money, opting for the cheapest quote doesn’t guarantee quality. Budget vendors typically opt for budget products in order to keep their prices low.

3. INVOLVEMENT & INCLUSIONS
